What We Do

Sunday Worship

We gather for worship each Sunday from 10:30. Some people choose to meet before the service from 9:30 for prayer.

Our Sunday morning service includes worship singing, prayer, communion, sharing of the Word, and may incorporate testimonies, encouragement and an opportunity for individuals to walk in the spiritual gifts that God has given them as the Lord leads.

We usually wrap up our service around 12:30, but may be longer if the Lord leads in a different direction. Folks often linger together talking over tea, coffee, and snacks which could lead well into the afternoon. Monthly potlucks afford a chance for a longer period to enjoy a meal and fellowship together. We recognize that some people may have other commitments and so may need to leave sooner. That is completely understandable.

Although we are unable to provide child care at this time, activities or toys can be provided for children at the back of the church.

Prayer

Prayer holds a high priority in the life of our. Jesus was adamant that His Father’s house was to be a house of prayer for all nations. We gather to seek God for His Spirit to move amongst us and his perfect agenda in prayer. We often pray for our families, community, church, government and individuals needs.

On Wednesday nights we meet at 6:00 to wait on God in a time of reflective worship before going into intercessory prayer around 7:00. People are welcome to come in at any point.

Sunday mornings afford us a time of preservice prayer from around 9:30.

If there is a need for prayer with someone throughout the week or a time of individual ministry is needed, please talk to Toni Sandford 250-783-0987 watering-hole777@hotmail.com for arrangements to be made.
